Transforming into a food trailer would give us the ability to take on larger events and increase our days & hours of operation. What sets us apart is the fact that we are exclusively gluten-free and vegan. We are a proud BIPOC owned + woman led business. We source as much of our inventory as possible from local farms & businesses. Our biggest road blocks are access to the capital needed to make this a full time operation.
Dairy-free, vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten-free and other groups of people with dietary restrictions benefit the most from our presence. However, everybody benefits from Dank food! There is a need for the type of cuisine we provide and we believe this business has the potential to grow as food trends lean toward plant-based eating across the globe.
What I Will Do With $5,000
We will apply the $5000 toward the cost of a food trailer & appliances needed to run Dank Street as a mobile food operation.
