I have the opportunity to reach people in all walk of life, I am excited about changing the culture of how young men dress and getting them to be interested in wearing more formal attire, and stressing the importance of being well-dress. My brand is different from my competitors because I target a younger demographic, At Mel Styles, I understand that the needs of my clients might differ, so I make sure to pay attention to details. I educate my clients about men’s fashion and the importance appearance has in relation to how you’re perceived. Some challenges I am facing currently is marketing my business to attract investors to ease some financial restraints. Being the sole workforce in my business, I plan to continue marketing my idea widely and hire an assistant to balance the heavy workload.
Young men in the Grand Rapids area continue to benefit from my idea. I am changing the way they view themselves in society, this can help create more job opportunities, increase the confidence of these young men and it helps them to get more interested in achieving their individual goals.
Perception is Reality.
Confidence in one’s appearance can translate into confidence in one’s natural abilities.
