HBCU Club is the foundation and development about Historically Black College and Universities in the United States.
HBCU Club will challenge our members to become active positive role models, decision makers, and assist in their transition to responsible youth adults in their communities.
HBCU Club is designed to develop student’s knowledge and attitudes towards college readiness. Our club has designed programs and services that will enhance academic and social support to middle school through college in preparation for post-secondary success.
HBCU Club college readiness program is to measure the efficiency of the curriculum delivered to the students. Data from the assessments and feedback will show qualitative and quantitative indicators to measure the program effectiveness.
HBCU Club member are future 1st generation students who will be going to college for the very 1st time. HBCU Club currently has 7 students from the Muskegon area that currently attend a HBCU.
