The Only Bean is on a mission to unlock the potential of beans through innovative food products that are healthy, delicious, and sustainable. We started our journey in 2018 by creating pasta made 100% from beans which can now be found in 1000+ stores nationwide. We launched our Crunchy Roasted Edamame Snack earlier this year and after receiving amazing feedback, we decided to expand our snack line by offering additional flavors. Our Crunchy Roasted Edamame Beans are dry roasted (never fried), high-protein, keto-friendly, gluten-free, vegan, made with sustainably grown non-GMO beans, and most importantly, deliciously fun to eat.
The average American snacks 2-3 times a day and has increased significantly during the pandemic. Unfortunately, snacking has developed a “bad rep” but when done right, snacking can be a healthy habit to keep you energized and support a healthy, balanced diet. That’s why we created a crunchy and delicious super snack that’s fun to eat and packed with nutrition that’ll keep you fueled throughout the day. Our goal is to expand this product line with additional flavors and help people snack smarter.
What I Will Do With $5,000
Creating a new flavor requires a significant amount of research and development, and large minimum orders for ingredients, packaging, and production. This grant will fund our first batch of Sriracha flavored Crunchy Roasted Edamame Beans.
