Lemoine Apothecary

Lemoine Apothecary is a specialty retail venture in the botanicals industry located in West Michigan. The product offerings are primarily the herbs, spices, supplies, and tools for creating traditional natural remedies for common ailments. Preparations that could be made include salves, tinctures, liniments, lotions, teas, etc. However, the retail business model, which has been a tried-and-true method for centuries, is augmented by intensive, customer-focused services, such as custom preparations, instruction, and health coaching. Unlike health food stores, Lemoine Apothecary focuses exclusively on ingredients for wellness-boosting herbs and botanical preparations. Located in Muskegon at the heart of thriving West Michigan, it serves a growing customer base focused on personal health and wellness.
As with any retail venture, a lot of capital must be invested in inventory and start-up costs. We still have a long way to go to meet our fundraising goals in order to open the doors.

Opening a store that provides all the supplies and knowledge to take advantage of centuries of wellness traditions can mean better health and longer life for the clientele. Encouraging a person to take control of their health can significantly help them ward off disease, improve quality of life, and extend their life. With a great enough reach, this could improve the overall health, happiness, and well-being of the entire community.
This business will also bring more money into our town.

What I Will Do With $5,000

The prize money will be used for inventory. Our goal is to raise $20,000 for inventory and fixtures for the store. We have already raised over $5,000, and this prize will move us past the half-way point!
