About Idea

The OneBowl allows you to cook, strain, eat, and store your food all in one dish. The minimalist design saves space in your cupboard and makes for less dirty dishes. Take yours to work or school with the snap on lid.

The OneBowl is BPA-free and dishwasher-safe so you can use it knowing that it is safe and easy to keep clean.

There are currently no products on the market that can be used to cook, strain, eat, and store all in one dish. There are some products on the market that allow the user to cook and eat from one dish but lack the ability strain and/or store as well.

The obvious roadblock moving forward is to get plastic injection molds made for the OneBowl. We’ve identified top notch partner in Holland, MI and hope to earn the 5x5 Night prize money to move forward with them.

College Students. The college student budget typically calls for Ramen Noodle and/or Mac n Cheese meals frequently to say the least. As a recent grad, I’ve come to know this first hand.

When making meals like these, it’s a pain to have to purchase, store, and wash the dishes it takes to make a single serving of noodles. The OneBowl makes life easy and allows you to make meals like this in one dish and take them with you.

This product is a perfect back-to-school gift from Bed Bath and Beyond.

What I Will Do With $5,000

The $5,000 will go directly to LS Mold in Holland, MI. They are a top notch plastic injection molding company that can create the molds and produce the OneBowls in-house. I have negotiated a deal with them and this $5,000 is exactly what I need to kick off manufacturing right here in Michigan.
