Tailor Made Bridal provides plus size brides and curvy women with the dress of their dreams for any special occasion. We are the 1st bridal retailer in West Michigan to cater exclusively to plus size women. Our curvy style experts pamper brides in a comfortable atmosphere, with hand selected styles, and top notch service. This idea excites me because it builds confidence of plus size women.
We have several advantages over our competition. Unlike our Detroit and Chicago competitors we are local, which saves the customer time and money. Unlike our big box competitors we offer an intimate and tailor made experience, to build relationship with customers. Our competitive edge is larger sample sizes, knowledgeable and friendly stylists and an array of styles.
Obvious roadblocks are start-up capital and securing property. I have already circumvented these road blocks by contracting with low minimum manufacturers, offering consignment and operating in a pop up shop format.
Our business is created for the curvy woman (14+) who has been underwhelmed, uninspired and undervalued while shopping for formal wear. She’s not only the bride, but the mother of the bride, the teen going to prom and the woman looking for a special occasion garment.
Lives will be changed as they will have access to bridal gowns and formal wear that is figure flattering, trendy and stylish, and made with the highest quality. Positive customer service will enhance their overall experience.
