By engaging in goat yoga, you can receive all the benefits of yoga that come with the practice, and adding a goat to the equation will only further boost the advantages. There are many mental benefits of practicing yoga with goats nearby, goats will lift your spirit, lessen any feelings of sadness or grief, and enhance communication. During yoga, all of these mental benefits will further enhance the outcome of your practice.  Goats are carefree, kind and free spirited animals that are sure to motivate you to smile and feel at ease. Goat Yoga is not new, but Goat Yoga Shala is different because it is a outdoor yoga studio, under the shade of trees and music of birds in nature.
The uniqueness of Goat Yoga Shala is also a road block when bad weather hits, we are looking to put up a shelter over the yoga pasture during rain so we do not need to cancel yoga groups.

The amazing thing about goat yoga is that so many people can benefit.  Not only yogis wanting to change up the scene, but families make it a activity to do together to get the kids out of the house.  Also, it sparks the interest of people who may not want to exercise, but because goats are involved they come out and participate and experience joy and healing.

What I Will Do With $5,000

The 5,000 will be used to cover the yoga pasture with a movable shelter and purchase 3 fainting goats to add to the herd.  Are trial goat yoga sessions have always sold out but the rain has caused many cancellations that can not be rescheduled.  Because the yoga classes sell out with 40 people, more goats are needed to keep goat to people ratio happy.
