Wind Craft Aviation

Our prototype, Sally Jean, will be the first commercially viable, vertical take-off and landing aerial vehicle. With a range of over 400NM, cruising at 185MPH and able to carry a payload of 250LBS, Sally Jean is life-saving medication, infrastructure, and opportunity for everyone. The universal ability to fly means universal progress. Practical, sustainable, and autonomous aviation is coming in the form of an aircraft that is 1/3 the cost of the competition. Wind Craft Aviation is applying proprietary and disruptive new technology in an entirely new way so that one day no-one is dying of preventable diseases because we invested in the technology to deploy solutions anywhere in the world.  With affirmation from both Boeing and Airbus engineers our project already has international attention, currently being considered for search and rescue operations in Tibet, medical delivery in Kenya, and rural transportation in New Zealand.

Sally Jean can deliver over 40,000 pounds and fly 63,000 miles in 160 cycles before maintenance, all without a pilot. Over 20 of our aircraft can fit inside of one C-130 and be anywhere in the world in less than 24 hours. Sally Jean’s impact will be universally felt, from remote villages in Ecuador to the metropolitan U.S. We can provide access to health care, infrastructure, and sustainable transportation for everyone using something as simple as an airplane.

What I Will Do With $5,000

The $5,000 from this event will go towards proving the aerodynamics of the aircraft, the viability of our fuel cells and launching a dilutive crowdfunding campaign to raise our seed round of 500,000.
