About this idea
I am a health and wellness coaching service offering strategic support for individuals that have suffered from Lyme disease, Long Covid, Chronic illness and chronic pain. I have 15 years experience as a Physical Therapist as well am a Certified Health Coach, Certified Yoga Instructor with pain management certification and nervous system rebalancing skills. All three of my children have suffered significantly from Lyme disease. My son was effected by the Covid vaccine and lost hearing in both ears, vision where he couldn't read a book, watch TV, look at his iPhone, drive, work or go to school for 17 months. He had viral encephalitis along full systemic Autoimmunity. He was starting his senior year at Grand Vally in Sept 2022 when this all occurred. I have traveled all over the country and worked with specialists in Canada, the Netherlands, Europe and Latin America. I have acquired many resources and tools to help those suffering from illness and not getting relief from current therapy treatments. My business is a Holistic Health Service focusing on training, educating and resource implementation for the individual client.
Currently I am collaborating with a Holistic Chiropractor and Medical Message Therapist. My business is a Sole proprietor and I am renting office space in their practice. I will see clients in person or over zoom. I am currently just starting and getting the business up and running.
Impact
The impact of my business will be significant in helping those individuals find hope and support who have been suffering for years with no answers. It is impactful on the environment by helping individuals gain tools to use other than looking for a "quick fix" by use of prescription medication.
By teaching individuals skills and tools the business is aligned with providing resources, guidance and tools to help our society regaining a quality of life that has been missing for years due to unexplained, untreated illness.
What I'll do with $5,000
I require start up money to have my website designed and implemented, I need office furniture, marketing materials including a sign for my office space, as well need to update the office space I am renting with appropriate light, window coverings and mirrors for clients to view themselves in exercise instruction.
