About this idea
EnneaBrain is a puzzle book series that transforms Enneagram learning into an engaging journey of self-awareness, empathy, and growth for middle and high school students. Phase One (KNOW) focuses on foundational self-discovery through word searches and visual puzzles, introducing the core traits, motivations, fears, and desires of each Enneagram type using accessible and age-appropriate language. Phase Two (BE) will explore how personality types relate to one another—wings, growth paths, and stress behaviors—using brain teasers, matching games, and trivia that teach emotional intelligence, pattern recognition, and conflict resolution. Phase Three (DO) will guide students through deeper integration with reflective activities that prompt personal insight, storytelling, and transformation. This final phase helps youth see themselves as unique, valuable, and capable of growth. Inspired by the Classical Model of Education (Grammar → Logic → Rhetoric), EnneaBrain meets students where they are developmentally layering content so it’s not just interesting, but transformative. Designed for classrooms, youth programs, and families, EnneaBrain fuses SEL, early mental health support, and fun into one tool, helping students name who they are—and who they’re becoming.
Impact
EnneaBrain helps young people build self-awareness, emotional literacy, and relational intelligence at a critical developmental stage. By engaging students with age-appropriate puzzles and personality insights, the series reduces stigma around emotions, empowers identity exploration, and fosters empathy across differences. Its unique approach integrates social-emotional learning (SEL), early mental health awareness, and character development thereby equipping students not just to ā€œknow themselves,ā€ but to navigate relationships, manage conflict, and grow with compassion. Teachers and youth leaders report improved group dynamics, deeper self-expression, and greater confidence among participants. For many students, EnneaBrain is the first time they feel truly ā€œseenā€ in who they are.
What I'll do with $5,000
With $5,000, we will produce and pilot the next phase of the EnneaBrain Puzzle Book Series: the "BE" level, focused on connection, growth, and relationship dynamics between personality types. This funding will allow us to: Print and distribute 250 pilot copies to middle and high school educators, youth group leaders, and mental health mentors Facilitate an 8-week classroom or group pilot, collecting qualitative and quantitative feedback Partner with an illustrator and curriculum consultant to ensure the content is both developmentally aligned and visually engaging Build a simple landing page for pilot participants to share testimonials, access guides, and join our growing community of ā€œKnowBeDo Crewā€ This step unlocks product validation, educator endorsements, and data we need to expand to a broader market and future funding.
