Impact
The overall impact of this idea safeguards not just space for space, but protects lives on the ground (keeping weather reporting systems online), commerce and communication globally, and the future exploration, expansion, and engagement of humanity on and off Earth. Steps to protect the $1trillion future space economy have already begun at Kall Morris Inc (KMI).
Following first-of-its-kind demonstrations on the ISS, KMI is projected to complete the process of designing, assembling, testing, and launching the first spacecraft in 2027. On this capability demonstration, KMI will expand its orbital infrastructure to enable rapid response and dynamic space operations, providing RaaS for commercial, civilian, and national security space systems.
With $35M of revenue anticipated with the first orbital mission, as the versatile and reusable innovations allow multiple operations over the lifespan of each vehicle, that grows to an annual revenue of $175M by 2030 with a growing pipeline of ongoing contracts with multiple customers. KMI prioritizes providing relocation services that enable commercial and national security operators to maintain uninterrupted function by efficiently removing assets at the end of their service lives, expanding the business case for RaaS through end-of-life, orbital transfer, asset removal, and related services.
Long-term recurring revenues will further the research and development of critical technologies, scaled manufacturing, and innovative operations, keeping KMI ahead of competitors while improving mission profitability. By 2029, KMI plans to increase the number of overall clients supported and utilize the recurring profits to expand to nearly a dozen operating spacecraft in orbit, and ready at launch pads, by 2032. The next generation of mobility is already underway with space access increasing, and KMI is uniquely positioned to capture the challenges and capitalize on the ongoing opportunities through Keeping Space Clear for All.
What I'll do with $5,000
The $5000 will be used to produce, print, and distribute novel marketing aids to key decision makers in civil, commercial, national security, and other related positions. These SCIF-friendly engagement tools have been popularized in the past for high-stakes efforts of lingering and continuing communication of complicated objectives. As marketing tools produced locally in Michigan, these specialized and specific-focused artifacts will give repetition of the positive impact and intention of KMI, RaaS, and the pinnacle position of mobility solutions from the great state of Michigan.
