About this idea
The US animation industry is worth over $410 billion and is projected to grow 10% in the next 5 years. Currently there is a lack of film studios in Michigan which has forced many skilled creatives to leave our state in search of work. We want to be a part of fixing that problem.
Impact
The reintroduction of the film industry in Michigan has profound implications for our community. By providing skilled creatives with opportunities to work locally, we not only foster a vibrant creative environment but also bolster the state's economy. At Sky Rat Productions, our approach to animation is akin to an artist selecting the perfect brushstroke or a sculptor choosing the ideal chisel. We carefully curate different animation styles to match the nuanced narratives of our projects. This deliberate selection imbues our work with a visual dynamism and depth that sets us apart in the market. By pushing the boundaries of animation, we strive to innovate and inspire, leaving a lasting impact on audiences and the industry alike.

Your investment in our company will be used to hire Michigan talent and the resources needed our most recent project that will be submitted to the 2025 Ann Arbor Film festival.
