About this idea
Everything that gets kept from a wedding day by the newlyweds is incredibly expensive, and/or cumbersome to store. You wear a wedding ring that might have cost hundreds or thousands of dollars. You have a dress that gets stuffed in the back of your closet, you might have a couple old centerpieces in the basement, you could have a video made for $5,000 that you watch once every couple of years. At Old Wineskins, we provide an opportunity for centerpiece quality keepsake for under $100. The gift giver makes a purchase with us and is delivered a wine bottle shipper. They then collect the champagne bottle from the wedding toast, and send that to us. We take less than a week to process the bottle into sea glass and send it to the newly married couple. When they arrive back from their honeymoon, they have the most unique wedding gift and conversation starter for years to come.

Old Wineskins has potential to provide thousands of wedding attendees with a most unique gift option, and thousands of newlyweds with a beautiful wedding day keepsake.
What I'll do with $5,000
We're primed to execute a go-to-market plan heading into the 2025 wedding season. These funds will primarily be used to develop and launch a marketing plan, and to purchase some shipping and logistics materials. The marketing plan will be centered around a local market debuting at the GR bridal show and following up with partnership programs with wedding planners. There will also be funding put towards a social media marketing campaign.
