Chef Gail Brown is a distinguished culinary expert, educator, and mentor, dedicated to empowering youth through food, hospitality, and career training. She is a Proctor for Serve Safe, a Certified Guest Service Professional (CGSP), and a Certified Hospitality Supervisor (CHS) with the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
As the Culinary Instructor at Grand Rapids Job Corps, she trains young professionals in food safety, meal preparation, and hospitality management. She is also the owner of Heart & Soul Catering and serves as the Food Service Director for Royal Priesthood Ministries Full Life Center, where she oversees meal programs for the before- and after-school youth program and leads a youth training initiative in fine dining and food presentation.
With her passion for mentorship, Chef Brown is committed to bridging the gap between education and employment, ensuring young people gain industry-recognized certifications, hands-on training, and career readiness skills.
