About this idea
Hearth Sauna is a high quality public sauna club. The sauna is a top of the line custom mobile sauna that can fit 10 guests comfortably. The sauna is mobile, but our goal would be to find a permanent home for each unit so that it can be a regular part of guests' health regimen. The mobile nature of the sauna encourages guests to enjoy the great outdoors in between sessions in the hot room. Ideally there would be a deliberate cold exposure component along side the sauna to allow guests to do contrast therapy and cycle back and forth between hot and cold which is invigorating and pleasant.
Impact
Many scientific studies point to positive health outcomes from deliberate heat and cold exposure. The social component is also impossible to understate. The hot cold contrast therapy gets the endorphins rushing and this breaks down barriers to social interaction better and healthier than alcohol.
What I'll do with $5,000
We would spend the $5,000 on legal fees to better understand the concept of licensing a brand. We would like to expand and give the gift of sauna to people all over the Midwest and have people interested in our business model. This would help us propagate the idea quickly in a fast growing and competitive market.
