Impact
NXT Gaming is all about changing lives through gaming. In 2025, we are looking to serve 1,000 youth, giving them safe spaces to grow, learn, and turn gaming into a real career. Through tournaments, workshops, and mentorship, we’re keeping youth off the streets and teaching them skills like streaming, game development, and competing in eSports. Our gaming center provides jobs for youth, and our mobile gaming truck reaches underserved areas, making sure no one is left out.
Data shows 85% of U.S. teens play video games, with many saying gaming helps them build teamwork and social skills. We’re using what they already love to help them earn legal income, gain confidence, and create a future they can be proud of. It’s about saving lives and showing youth that gaming isn’t just a hobby it’s a way forward.
What I'll do with $5,000
With $5,000, NXT Gaming will directly expand our impact by investing in the following areas. $2,000 will be used to purchase professional gaming PCs and consoles for our gaming center, giving youth access to high quality equipment. $1,000 will help fund group trips to professional gaming events, exposing youth to career opportunities in eSports and gaming. Another $1,000 will go toward stipends for youth volunteers who help run the gaming center, teaching them responsibility and job skills. The remaining $1,000 will support recruitment efforts to bring in more youth and ensure we are reaching as many as possible. This funding will create real opportunities and help youth see gaming as more than just a hobby, it is a future.
