About this idea
The food, Chicago style rib tips, Italian beef, Chicago Pizza puffs, Chicago Dogs, Polish Sausages,sauce up wings, and much more. Unique flavor like Chicago mild sauce and salt & pepper wings- hard to find in west Michigan. Chicago style popcorn and other nostalgic Windy City snacks.
Impact
Taste of Chicago will boost Grand Rapids' economy by creating local jobs, supporting Michigan suppliers, and drawing food lovers from near and far. By introducing authentic Chicago style cuisine to the region, we'll enrich the city's culinary culture, serve the community through events and catering, and create opportunities for veterans and residents alike.
What I'll do with $5,000
With $5000, I would invest in targeted marketing to expand brand awareness, and purchase initial bulk inventory of key ingredients. This would allow Taste of Chicago to serve more customers, increase sale, and strengthen our position in West Michigan's food scene.

Steven Bunch is a US Navy veteran and chef with over 25 years of experience. Born and raised in Chicago. Steven is dedicated to sharing his hometown's iconic dishes while supporting local growth.
