Historically, the power of Computer-Aided Design and 3D Prototyping were largely exclusive to large corporations, limiting innovation and access. At MoMaLab 3D, we are committed to democratizing Product Engineering and 3D Prototyping. By strategically leveraging an Open Source 3D Modeler, we can effectively lower barriers and provide high-quality CAD solutions to everyone, from individual inventors to small businesses. Furthermore, while recent 3D printing advancements have made bringing concepts and ideas to life significantly easier, access often remains limited to a select few enthusiasts working on personal projects. Our mission is to bridge this gap, integrating these powerful technologies to offer custom-made solutions that are accessible and tailored for all.
What I'll do with $5,000
This grant would significantly boost our technical capabilities, directly impacting our efficiency and service offerings:
$1,500 - 3D Scanner: To enable advanced Reverse Engineering, drastically improving modeling times and part precision.
$1,500 - Professional 3D Printer with Laser Cutting Module: To substantially elevate production output and integrate diverse manufacturing capabilities.
$1,000 - Dedicated Workstation: Essential for efficiently handling complex CAD files and processing large 3D scan data.
$1,000 - Targeted Advertising: To effectively reach new clients and expand our market presence.
