Impact
RP3 Plants LLC exists to address a real need in West Michigan, and provides access to fresh, affordable, high-quality produce. Many families are forced to choose between cost and quality, and struggle to find reliable, nutrient-rich options.
We provide a solution by offering locally grown, chemical-free produce for both people and pets. At the same time, we help individuals and families build their own gardens, creating pathways to self-sufficiency and long-term food access.
Our impact goes beyond food. We support community health, local agriculture, and economic opportunity, especially in areas where access has not always been equitable. Through education and hands-on support, we help turn everyday space into sources of nourishment, pride, and possibility.
As a Black-owned business, this work carries deeper meaning. It is about reclaiming connections to land, continuing generational knowledge, and building something that uplifts both our family and our broader community.
RP3 Plants LLC is helping cultivate a healthier, more connected West Michigan, one garden, one harvest, one family at a time.
What I'll do with $5,000
With a $5,000 investment, RP3 Plants LLC will expand production, improve efficiency, and increase community reach.
A top priority is purchasing a greenhouse or hoop house to support year-round growing. This will allow us to provide consistent access to fresh, local produce beyond the traditional growing season.
We will also expand our growing capacity with additional raised garden beds and invest in a rear rototiller to prepare land more efficiently and to support more community garden builds.
This funding will strengthen packaging and distribution, helping us reach more households and build partnerships with local businesses and pet shops. We will also expand our seed and plant inventory to offer a wider variety of fresh, nutrient-rich options.
Finally, we will invest in marketing and outreach to grow awareness and connect with more families. Much of our growth has come from word of mouth and social media, this support will help us build on that foundation.
This investment will do more than grow our business. It will expand access, deepen impact, and help us continue building something long-lasting in West Michigan.
