Impact
Black Genius Black Famous creates impact at the intersection of education, culture, and identity.
It increases access to culturally relevant learning—especially for students in underfunded schools—by making Black history and contributions engaging, interactive, and memorable. It supports improved confidence, cultural pride, and deeper retention of knowledge for young people who often don’t see themselves reflected in traditional curriculum.
Beyond the classroom, it transforms how families and communities connect. It creates intentional spaces for intergenerational learning, conversation, and celebration—turning game night into a moment of cultural affirmation and shared knowledge.
On a broader level, our impact is cultural. We are actively shifting what gets amplified by centering Black excellence, innovation, and truth. By making these stories visible, accessible, and fun, we help redefine narratives and normalize brilliance.
This isn’t just a game—it’s a tool for education, empowerment, and cultural change.
What I'll do with $5,000
If awarded $5,000, we will use the funds to bring Black Genius Black Famous from concept to market-ready experience.
First, we will develop a high-quality game prototype, including design, printing, and playtesting to refine gameplay and user experience.
Second, we will secure key business and brand protections to support long-term growth and scalability.
Finally, we will host a series of community game nights to drive engagement, gather real-time feedback, and build early buzz. These events will serve as both cross-promotion and proof of concept.
This investment will allow us to validate the product, protect the brand, and build momentum toward full production and distribution.
