What I'll do with $5,000
The $5,000 will be used to transition Cleonse Hydration from small-batch production into a scalable, retail-ready operation.
First, I will obtain a Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Limited Wholesale Food Processor License ($186), which will allow me to legally sell Cleonse Hydration in retail stores. I am already in the process of launching locally and have an agreement to sell at a tennis and fitness club in Grand Rapids, providing immediate real-world distribution and customer feedback.
Second, I will invest in a semi-automatic auger filler, which will significantly increase production efficiency and consistency. This will allow me to produce larger quantities while maintaining quality, reduce manual labor, and prepare for scaling demand before transitioning to a full co-packer.
Finally, the remaining funds will be allocated to Facebook and Instagram advertising to drive customer acquisition and validate scalable demand. These campaigns will focus on direct-to-consumer sales and local awareness, converting interest into both immediate purchases and subscriptions.
This combination of licensing, production capability, and targeted marketing will allow Cleonse to move from early traction to a repeatable, scalable business model — while maintaining the quality and transparency that define the brand.
