Linda Carol’s Kitchen is a fun, creative, and flavorful cupcake bakery located in the great city of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Our passion is flavor and design! We express this passion through cupcakes flavors that are inspired by your favorite desserts, such as strawberry shortcake, sweet potato pie, banana pudding and more! Our love and appreciation for art and design is expressed through custom designs that allows you to be creative and customize the cupcakes of your dreams for any special occasion!
Impact
The benefit of our product is that it provides a unique dessert experience in taste and also design. Often times customers buy similar products from our competitors and either the product looks really good but tastes awful or it taste amazing and looks awful. Linda Carol's Kitchen can guarantee both the flavor and design that our customers desire!
What I'll do with $5,000
To grow and scale the business we need the capability to produce more product. With the business only having one employee this is likely not achievable. $5,000 would go towards hiring our first employees. These employees would help with the production of the cupcakes, including, baking decorating and packaging. Another position would be delivery of the cupcakes. The last position would be to sell at markets and pop ups. The addition of these employees will help the business increase production as we start to have products in local stores and work multiple markets and pop ups simultaneously. $5,000 would also allow the business to hire a marketing specialist to help boost our marketing efforts and reach more potential customers.
