Many skin care products on the market are made with ingredients that can cause cancer, developmental and reproductive toxicity, as well as allergies and immunotoxicity. Not only are these ingredients causing harm to our health, they are also causing harm to the planet. By using sustainable ingredients in our skin care products we can protect the future of our planet. Furthermore, a lot of products made with plant-based ingredients have been proven more effective than products made with, for example, petroleum-based ingredients which can actually make your skin worse. There is a reason the global skin care market was valued at 140 billion USD in 2020 and it is still continuing to grow. I want to be apart of this green movement.
What I'll do with $5,000
I want to put this $5,000 towards marketing my products. I plan to market mostly through SEO and social media (facebook, instagram, Tik Tok). My website is almost done where I will be using E-commerce to sell my products, so the extra money to use for marketing would help tremendously. I am currently selling to friends and family right now until my website is done and they are all returning customers. So, I haven't officially launched my business yet.
