About this idea
The goal is to create an after-market product that can fit in any dishwasher. I'm not trying to compete with the conglomerates; instead, I am trying to complement their products with my own. That way, the user gets the luxury of not having to bend down to do this tedious and strenuous task while paying a fraction of the cost. As can be seen from the picture, the scissor lift design and spring mechanism allows the dishrack to lift by just a press of a button.
Impact
I want to greatly reduce or even completely eliminate the need to bend down, kneel, or squat to load/unload the dishes. Now, my product saves people the time and hassle and constantly straining themselves to complete this mundane task. I've seen it with my own eyes how this idea can positively impact the lives of others, especially the older generation, where I got this idea from.
What I'll do with $5,000
I would use this generous grant of $5,000 to pay for exhibit spaces at larger conventions to gain more exposure and traction for my product. Additionally, I would use the remains to improve the functionality of the product. There are still some tweaks that need to be fixed before launching at a mass-scale, so these funds would give a financial relief when undergoing some of these projects.
Quick Bio
Hi! My name is Michael Morrone, and I am a recent college graduate and new inventor. I've always had a knack for creating things, so I want to combine that skill with improving the lives of others.
