About this idea
Traditional disc manufacturing methods often lead to slight variations between discs, making repeatable performance difficult for players. At Forge we craft high-performance, precision-engineered discs with cutting edge 3d printing technology. This ensures that each disc will achieve the same reliable flight, empowering players to trust their equipment on every throw.
Impact
We started off 2024 with the Nail and the local community quickly fell in love with it. This gave us the confidence to sponsor the 2024 PDGA Amateur Worlds competition, where we made our mark and expanded our reach internationally. Our second disc, the Ash, was released soon after and helped to establish the Forge brand. Combined with our efforts to maintain a social media presence, these developments led to over 250 orders, far exceeding our first-year goal of 100. This year, we have been hard at work gearing up to sponsor two local Disc Golf Professional Tour (DGPT) stops as well as developing our third disc, a fairway driver.
What I'll do with $5,000
If we were to receive $5000, we would use $1200 to finish our brand trademark and $3800 for professional tournament sponsorships.
Quick Bio
Forge is made up of three brothers Jef, Keven, and Ben.
Jef is the one who got us into disc golf.
Keven is the glue that holds us together.
Ben is where the idea for Forge started.
