Impact
BRCĒ’s impact starts at the grassroots—right here in Michigan. We’re equipping local schools, from middle schools to high schools, with gear designed to keep athletes safer and performing at their best. By partnering directly with athletic programs across the state, we’re making sure that safety and performance aren’t luxuries—they’re a baseline for every young athlete, regardless of budget or background.
As a women-led company, we’re also deeply committed to supporting female athletes and disabled athletes who are often underserved by traditional gear innovation. Our team works closely with coaches, trainers, and school administrators to deliver equipment that’s inclusive, accessible, and performance-driven. Whether it’s designing gear that supports athletes with mobility challenges or donating product to all-girls teams in underserved districts, we’re building a movement from the ground up.
This is real impact. We’re rooted in Michigan, and we’re growing outward by putting community first. Every lace we ship, every pilot program we run, and every athlete we equip moves us closer to a safer, more equitable future for sports and movement.
What I'll do with $5,000
A $5,000 investment would be a catalytic boost for BRCĒ as we scale our material-tech innovation and community-driven mission.
Here’s how we would use the funding:
$3,000 – Michigan Pilot Program Expansion:
We’re currently outfitting high school and middle school athletic programs across Michigan—including in Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Detroit—with our injury-prevention laces and accessories. This funding would help us subsidize gear costs for under-resourced schools and female-led teams, accelerating our mission to make elite-level safety accessible to youth athletes.
$2,000 – Product Development & Testing:
We’re preparing new iterations of our material-based performance gear, including footwear components and industrial applications. These funds would support third-party lab testing and materials validation in partnership with Western Michigan University.
Ultimately, this $5,000 would help BRCĒ expand its reach, deepen its impact in Michigan, and accelerate the development of safer, smarter tools for human performance—starting with athletes, and expanding to workers worldwide.
