We show that a woman-led business from a small town in the U.P. can scale fast and build something exciting, profitable, and culturally relevant.
Weāve hired 10+ local team members at $18.50-$22/hour and built a real sense of team pride and culture. Weāre redefining what āmobile food and beverageā can look like; less truck-stop, more pop-up party. With our rapid growth and strong brand identity, weāre creating local jobs, sparking entrepreneurship, and offering a unique, unforgettable experience that keeps people coming back.
What I'll do with $5,000
1. Custom Beverage Trailer Build-Out (approx $2,500) Weāve outgrown our starter setup. This funding will go toward building out a more efficient trailer interior, designed for high-volume drink service. This will speed up production, improve sanitation, and support long-term growth.
2. Launch of Branded Merch Line which is about $1500.
Girly Pop has become more than a beverage, itās a brand. We want to launch branded merchandise including t-shirts, hats, featuring our signature fun, feminine, and disco-glam aesthetic. Customers already ask for it, and it will help turn our biggest fans into walking billboards while adding a new revenue stream!
3. Professional Signage + Menu Displays- last approx $1,000. To match the energy of our brand, we need upgraded visual signage: custom feather flags, fun branded menu boards, and professional signage to stand out at crowded events. Better signage speeds up ordering, increases visibility, and enhances the vibe of our pop-up setup.
These targeted investments will allow Girly Pop to serve more customers, elevate our visual identity, and expand into new markets confidently. With $60K in sales in under 3 months, (30k in one week alone) this grant helps us solidify our growth and keep delivering the viral, fun, and empowering experience our community loves.
