Mental Health is your Wealth

Spreading the vital importance of youth mental health in all areas of Grand Rapids, Michigan. With an emphasis on the inner city youth. The stigmas of violence, drugs, and poverty, causes much attention that needs to be addressed. Being a minority, coming from the inner city drives me to want to passionately deliver more assets to my community.

About this idea
Providing a secure, safe environment for the youth. With a Certified Youth Mental Health Instructor who looks like them and can relate to their life experiences. The youth will develop their own self care plan that is tailored to each individual’s own personal game plan. Mentorship and resources will be provided to help assist with any adversity foreseen by the youth.
Impact
Breaking the stigma around Youth Mental Health, open opportunities and or support for our youth to write their own successful stories.
What I'll do with $5,000
With the $5000 we will purchase tools, resources, and space to provide a secure and safe environment.
