Sanders Mobile Shop has been very popular at festivals and events around West Michigan, including but not limited to Muskegon's farmers market, Rebel Road, Apple & BBQ Festival, Taste of Muskegon, and Grand Rapids Spring Market, just to name a few. Sanders Mobile Shop has become known for their delicious food, which has lead to the company being recognized in articles and a large following. The company has grown in its short 3 years, where the companies revenue continues to grow exponentially each year. SMS business venues has grown through its food truck revenue and catering events. SMS has depicted its ability to thrive in a growing food truck industry totalling over 55,000 licenced trucks. The Owner of SMS plans to continue to build the company's business profolio by bringing a marketable product that can be purchased year round. Through the creation of Mr. Sanders Multipurpose Seasoning blend, it appeals to all ages and groups of people looking to create healthier meals at home. This market allows the average family, specially minorities, whom are at a higher risk for hypertension, Chronic Heart Failure, or Kidney Disease have assess to healthier seasoning at their local grocery stores.
Impact
With SMS attending several festivals and events through out the year will help to create and sustain business relationships across West Michigan, leading to the ability to market the product in various capacities. Also, the success of this product will not only help the growing economy and diverse food market, but provide a sense of hope and pride to those offenders still incarcerated knowing there is the possibility of finding success.
What I'll do with $5,000
Our goal is to utilize the $5,000 to assist with the production and marketing of his multi-purpose seasoning blend. This includes but not limited to cost of products, which varies by the cost of the seasoning containers, Nutritional Labels, UPC codes, and cost of products. In addition to helping to cover the cost of commerical kitchen space through Kitchen 242,Storage, Marketing, Counseling Services with MSU Food and Product Center, and Lakeshore Flavor.

SMS was created by Brian and his daughter during his incarceration, whom had the vision of creating healthier food alteratives to Muskegon upon his return. Bre'Onna has a diverse business background.
