About this idea
I have played and coached college basketball, as well as currently coaching high school in the Grand Rapids area at Lee High School. Recently I captured my second bachelor's degreee in Early Childhood Education from Aquinas College. Blending my personal playing and coaching experience, with the education and approach towards fine and gross motor skills, we have fun and educational curriculum to develop students bodies. The curriculum is designed to utilize mini-trampolines, balance beams, sets of box squares and other basic basketball essentials like balls and agility equipment, which the equipment adds emphasis on body development for infants and toddlers. Our program also offers 3 v 3 Co-Ed Youth Basketball Leagues, travel basketball teams from grades 3rd-10th for boys and 4th-6th for girls, and basketball skill development classes for grades 3rd-12th for boys and girls.
Impact
The impact of our program offers are job opportunities as the curriculum can be learned by most, provide opportunities for underserved youth, education for youth and families on body development. The youth sports market was $19.2 billion in 2019 and expected to reach $77 billion by 2026. The youth sports markets are comprised of segments that represent revenue generation from travel, equipment, team membership, facility construction, software, and venue rental. With the services offered year-round by All-In Sports, we will position ourselves to efficiently serve our communties needs for the competitive familes or recreational families.
What I'll do with $5,000
The $5000 willl be used to enhance our program as we work towards opening our own facility and we plan to use the winnings in threee specific ways. Those three ways are a full launch of our Early Childhood Development program by purchasing the necessary equipment, trademarking a few phrases within our programā€™s vernacular, and having capital towards hosting larger tournaments for travel basketball teams year-round. Those three ways are a full launch of our Early Childhood Development program b
