About this idea
Our goal is to become the premier drone solutions provider in the Midwest. Black Swan UAS is an organization that offers drone and UAS solutions for both governments, businesses and consumers. Our value proposition is built upon the variety of services we offer, the number of different technologies we can field, and our diverse pilot roster. We are building partnerships with drone manufacturers such as Easy Aerial that will see us become their primary pilot contractor. Other partnerships include utility and engineering firms. Currently, the industries that we work with include: Real estate and commercial real estate, utilities, mapping and GIS, general aerial photography and videography, mining, and more.
Impact
A drone services company can have a significant impact on various industries and sectors. Drones, also known as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), offer a wide range of capabilities and applications, which can result in numerous positive impacts. Impacts include broader access to cutting edge technology solutions that result in safer and more cost-effective outcomes. By outsourcing drone services, organizations can take advantage of greater expertise and experience than they would normally be able to maintain in house. Organizations can better keep up with insurance and FAA certification requirement changes, such as Remote ID requirements.
What I'll do with $5,000
The $5,000 will be used in a variety of ways. For instance, the $5,000 will allow for the purchase of an annual insurance premium, thus saving around 10% of costs per job. The funds will also allow for us to broaden our service offerings. For $550 we can purchase an annual subscription to ArcGIS, thus allowing us to bid on more government service opportunities, such as zone and community mapping projects.
