About this idea
Care Entree is a food services and meal plan provider that prepares and delivers delicious, healthy and fresh meals made from high quality ingredients sourced from local farms and suppliers in our centrally located kitchen. In addition, we offer businesses, apartments, healthcare facilities and universities a full service solution to provide their employees, residents, and students access to on demand fresh and healthy meals, beverages and snacks with convenient and contactless onsite smart fridges.
Impact
Sadly, the Standard American Diet (SAD) hasn’t served us wellness. Our population is overrun with diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure and other ailments. It has become evident that processed foods containing high levels of preservatives, sugars and unhealthy oils are responsible for causing inflammation and digestive issues. While the demand for fresh and healthier food options has never been greater. At the same time, our lives are busier so finding the time to shop and prepare our own meals is a challenge. When people choose food based on convenience they are most often sacrificing freshness and nutritional value.
What I'll do with $5,000
We would utilize the $5,000 to purchase additional cooler equipment to transport food safely for deliveries as well as initial food and packaging inventories.
