Creative Art in a time of need!

The pandemic has caused much isolation and anxiety. Art is a great therapeutic way to release internal, creative ideas onto paper or canvas. I wish to provide novice artists of all ages an opportunity to virtually get creative and express their dreams and ideas.

About this idea
* Start off providing virtual classes * Move to a brick & mortar building so that participants can get out of the house and come to the studio (following CDC guidelines) * Showcase their artwork to the community via connecting with community partners/organizations
Impact
1) It will provide a creative outlet and build positive self-esteem; 2) Anyone can be an artist-he/she just needs to try 3) It will inspire future art teachers
What I'll do with $5,000
The $5,000 will be used to purchase the art supplies/materials for the participants as well as for advertising to the community.
