About this idea
My Idea is to trickle down opportunities to local creatives, while producing quality clothing that resonated with the diverse city of Grand Rapids. DESIGNBYEDWINMORALES was established with a pre-conceived idea of inclusion and selflessness. The brand is solely owned by Edwin Morales and has already been welcomed with overwhelming positivity! I've even collaborated with local Retailer Reynolds & Sons for a two-day Pop up shop where I interacted with our amazing community.
Impact
While small my first couple creative endeavors have been fruitful in terms of impact, my models stylist and photographer have been amazing to work with. The Impact the brand will have will be similar to our previous events and drops with contracting local talent all the while establishing a community of like-minded creatives that uplift each other and provide a support system for ideas and exchanging resources. Getting started as a creative is challenging and while my main focus will be fashion, it is creative expression in a medium that branches out and reaches so many other creative fields and the possibility of collaboration are endless! I just need a little push!

with $5,000 I will be able to further the creative vision and help provide valuable opportunities to those in the creative field!
