Impact
The impact is to have a space where all skin types are catered to and my mission is to turn skincare into a necessity and not seen so much of a luxury. I have noticed all too often that people of color don’t have a lot of priority in the skincare industry , especially when it comes to understanding and treating melanated skin. It’s always refreshing to see someone that understands different skin types and can offer effective solutions. Whether you are looking for help with skin ailments or looking for some much needed pampering , I want to be that space for everyone.
What I'll do with $5,000
I will use the money to take my business to the next level by continuing my education by taking courses and attending events to stay abreast of all current trends and product knowledge refreshers and courses, expos and retreats. I also would add to my hiring budget for my financial and bookkeeping needs . I would like to bring in professionals to help me understand and manage the financial aspect of my business and manage my “ backend “ . The funds will also be used for upgraded equipment cost. I am a authorized retailer for a professional skincare line of products and the mint will also be used to keep retail fully stocked with products for all skin types and backbar options widely available for all skin types as well.
