Havana Hideout

I want to bring a new cultural Cuban taste to the city. Cuban food reflects the country's melting pot history and has roots in African, Spanish, Italian, American, Chinese and Taino cuisines. This restaurant allows you to try a variety of different foods and cuisines that you may not have access to at home. Outside food can also be a social activity, whether you are dining with friends, family, or coworkers.

About this idea
Starting as a food delivery service. Creating a menu options at a cost-effective price point. The best Cuban cooking can be very good; not hot-and-spicy, but flavorful, not bland. It's more about herbs, garlic and moderately used spices. The menu will be variety of food option such as : (congri con carne) Know as black rice with your choice of meat, yuca con mojo, tostones, fritura de maiz and let's not forget about desert ( flan, pudin, arroz con leche, torreja, guayava con queso.) many more delicious Cuban plate unknown yet to discover. As the business continues to grow, next is to open a restaurant where we will create an atmosphere where people enjoy coming in and have a great time. Also boost the local economy by providing jobs for local residents and keeping money flowing through the community. As well continuing our delivery service.
Impact
At the end of a work day, many people don't feel like going to the effort of preparing full meals themselves. This can be a great way to expand your palate and try new things. Offering dishes that travel well and maintain their quality during delivery so that customers enjoy their meals just as much at home as they would in a restaurant. Prioritize food safety, hygiene, and convenience with proper insulation, spill-proof packaging, and clear labeling. As well job growth, supports local agriculture and keeps hard-earned money in your community.
What I'll do with $5,000
I will be completing the Michigan Cottage Food Law Food Safety Online Training as well as Food Service Establishment permit from my local health department. Becoming a entrepreneurs with Door dash/Uber eat. Or hiring my own delivery staff to do in-house delivery. As well buying supplies, food and all preparation in need for a great delivery service.
