About this idea
We grow Michigan Based Business by connecting them with customers, this is done in 2 ways. 1. Hosting Monthly Pop Up markets that connects them to the community 2. Online sales that allows them to sell products all month long.
Impact
A study by Forbes Magazine states that when you shop local at least 45% of the revenue stays within the community as opposed to 14% when you don't. This means shopping local is one of the best ways to keep your community thriving and strong.
What I'll do with $5,000
All funds will go toward growth not operations, they will help us grow from $200-$300 monthly revenue to $1k-$1.5k within 6 months. Out of the $5000 dollars awarded below is a detailed breakdown of how it will be used. $2000 - Expand Market offerings (new entertainment equipment as larger tents for hosting sustainable workshops) $1500 - Redesign the website to be higher converting based upon extensive research done on the target market $500 - Marketing Signage for increased visibility during local events.
