About this idea
(copied from above) I find texting easy. I don't find note-taking apps easy--they're usually too complicated. NotesBuddy (temp name) solves that. To send a note, text NoteBuddy! Save a note: "just text anything to the NB number" make an appointment: "a: 2/28/2023 Show up at Start Garden!" text yourself a reminder: "r: 10pm submit Start Garden 5x5 application" send me today's notes: "s: notes" or "send notes" email me today's notes "e: notes" You can access your notes from the web, too, to read them all in one place. send a link to my notes: "s: link" and it texts back a link. Thant's it!
Impact
It makes life easier. Simpler. That's it. Doesn't save the world. But it might make someone's day a bit easier to manage.
What I'll do with $5,000
I need some help with the UI on the site, and to test market the idea. I'm able to finish building the software on my own. UI develpment: $1500 test marketing: $3000 Twilio (texting service) charges: $500. That's really it--500 characters is too much so I'm going to leave you with this poem: Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness That most frightens us. We ask ourselves Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small Does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking So that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, As children do. We were born to make manifest The glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; It's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, Our presence automatically liberates others.

About Charlie Crystle

Hi! I'm an entrepreneur. My last company was a social impact bakery; we made organic bread to hire people with records of incarceration. Before that I built a few software companies. I'm a localist at heart, and thrive when I work on something with a mission. And then there's this particular project, which is just geeking out :)
