Our cooking classes not only provide an opportunity to savor the delightful cuisine but also shed light on its historical, nutritional, and social significance. By participating, you will not only expand your culinary repertoire but also contribute to the preservation and appreciation of Jamaican culture.
What I'll do with $5,000
1. Equipment and Supplies (Approximately $1000): Purchase authentic Jamaican cookware, such as a traditional jerk drum or a Dutch pot, to add an authentic touch to your classes. 2. Ingredients and Groceries (Approximately $1000): Purchase high-quality ingredients and groceries. 3. Marketing and Branding (Approximately $1000): Invest in digital marketing strategies to reach potential customers, including social media advertising and targeted online promotions. 4. Imported from Portland, Jamaica, I am a Detroit-based Jamaican caterer striving to specialize in creating dishes with fresh, quality ingredients. My approach to Jamaican food is "local and sustainably sourced ingredients, cooked fresh, with Jamaican herbs and spices."
