About this idea
RFID ( something similar to track) markers on parking spots ( malls, airports, garages, etc) have an app on your mobile device that connects with the satellite tracking and shows where an empty parking space is so you are not driving around looking for a spot. You can mark the spot on your phone and it will save it for 5 minutes. It also acts as a reminder to where you parked your car ( level 3 row c). It also times your car in the event that the parking is an hourly charge. Potential sponsors Insurance Companies, Automakers, Banks, etc.
Impact
Save time in looking for a parking spot as well as money in fuel driving around. Less chance of an accident because of less driving and looking for a spot. Notification of how long you have been parked plus a reminder of where you parked.
What I'll do with $5,000
Bank it. Treat myself to something fun. Perhaps a charter fishing boat
