About this idea
The SUTSO Challenge is a campaign that encourages social media users to take a break from social media and focus on improving their intrapersonal intelligence skills. Participants are asked to deactivate their social media accounts for 21 days and complete 21 different activities that do not involve social media. The SUTSO App provides such activities.
Impact
At our organization, we believe that it is crucial to have a healthy relationship with technology in order to live a fulfilling life. Our mission is to inspire and guide individuals to find a balance between their digital and physical worlds by providing them with the tools and resources they need to make informed decisions about their digital usage. To achieve this, we offer a wide range of motivational resources, including educational content and practical strategies, that help users understand the effects of social media on their mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Our goal is to empower individuals to take control of their digital habits and prevent excessive interactiveness, which can lead to negative consequences such as addiction, loneliness, and decreased productivity. In addition, at SUTSO, a leading authority on digital well-being, to provide access to their latest research and literature. By examining this literature, users can gain a deeper understanding of intrapersonal intelligence, which is the ability to understand and manage one's own emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Intrapersonal intelligence is vital to our everyday lives and can help us navigate the digital world in a healthy way. The SUTSO App provides local businesses a national platform to advertise their business to participants of the SUTSO 21 Day Challenge and/or any local person who may be randomly looking for a new "hot spot" in their local areas. There will be one business per month promoting themselves for one activity, and each month will be a different local business.
What I'll do with $5,000
The 5,000 will be used to buy flyers, banners, and other promotional items to be provided to participating local businesses in an attempt to build SUTSO Brand recognition. Local businesses will receive these flyers and banners and have the option to place SUTSO official brand items in their place of business. For example, just like we see "Yelp" or "Doordash" signs in restaurants, businesses will be able to place SUTSO promotion in their place of business to drive potential users to the app. The SUTSO app looks to work with progressive local businesses who wish to promote themselves for one month in the SUTSO App. Each activity will have one local business advertised per month, and will change to a new business every month. This way The SUTSO App has fresh businesses every month for recurring users.

About Alexander Settles

I created The SUTSO App 9 years ago. I currently reside in Grand Rapids again after working the past 2 and a half years on the road as a travel warehouse selector so I could make The SUTSO App possible on Apple and Google Play store. It is available to download and it is a free app. I submitted Sutso into the 5 x 5 a couple years ago and didnt make it past the first round, but at that time, I never had the actual app. After I lost and voting closed, someone from Start Garden emailed me and asked "How else can we help?" And at the time, I needed help getting the app available to the world, so I went and worked on the road and paid everything off.
