About this idea
Through public workshops and private events, participants can create their own small floral arrangement to take home or gift, while sipping on their preferred drink in a safe and social setting!
Impact
Tipple & Posy is intended to be a fun event for locals and tourists. A way to engage and create with others in a safe environment while also supporting the local and state-wide economy! Using Michigan floral wholesale markets to purchase stems to create from, as well as using local compost and waste services to maintain an environmentally conscious event, we plan to give back to our community and showcase its talents just as much as we plan to create a good time for those who attend our events. Eventually, we hope to have our own space to work out of, and can display the work of local ceramic artists and other creators. Once more established, we would love to partner with local breweries, distilleries, and wine vendors to make the Tipple to our Posy, truly home grown!
What I'll do with $5,000
Right now our primary need is in funding towards deposits on studio spaces to host 4-5 public workshops in Q1, this is expected to cost between $400-$1000. Another portion of the funding would work towards marketing in order to reach a larger audience, we expect to cap this at $400 for Q1. We would also need to hire a designer to help us create a more accessible website that can facilitate our current special orders, and the upcoming features of workshop reservations, and private event requests,
