About this idea
I plan to use the funds to create a fun interactive course for teens that can be taking remotely and in person. This course will be a fun way for teens to learn all about financial literacy, it will include learning how to budget and save money, learn about credit, filling out scholarships and grants and more.
Impact
The impact will be creating more well rounded young adults, who because of being educated early won't fall into the slippery slopes of overwhelming debt.
What I'll do with $5,000
I would create the courses and present them to highschools and parents to help them help teens In our communities, learn how to become well rounded young adults and have them ready for to take on financial responsibilities. I plan to make this program available to youth across michigan, by creating a professional website as well as use the funds for marketing materials to create more awareness about the program. I would also use the funds to provide some of the youth with free access to the program for those families who can't afford to have their children participate in the program.
