Howl at the Moon Sauna Co. is not just your ordinary sauna company; it's a unique and innovative venture that's redefining the way people approach well-being and community. Emphasizing holistic wellness, Howl at the Moon Sauna Co. provides not just a place to relax and unwind, its meticulously designed for the optimal sauna experience and intended to provide physical benefits, such as detoxification and improved circulation, as well as mental benefits, such as stress reduction and social benefits as a drug and alcohol-free alternative to typical social gatherings. Howl at the Moon Sauna Co.'s mission revolves around reconnecting people and connecting people with nature. Sauna experiences will be offered in natural settings allowing participants to immerse themselves in nature year-around while enjoying the beauty and comfort of the sauna. Community well-being is at the core of Howl at the Moon Sauna Co. Our sauna sessions are designed to foster a sense of belonging and community among participants. It's a place where strangers can become friends and where everyone is equal upon stepping into the sauna. It is our hope that thought these unique and unforgettable experiences, whether under the starlit sky or alongside one of Michigan's beautiful bodies of water, people can create lasting bonds. Beyond sauna sessions around the community, the company will also host events, and be available for business to business collaborations (think wellness workshops, retreats, yoga, special events, festivals, etc.) and possibly private rentals in the future. Lastly, yet equally as important, Howl at the Moon Sauna Co. takes environmental responsibility seriously. The sauna itself is artfully crafted from recycled materials (converted horse trailer), locally sourced materials and local labor. The unit is completely off-grid and operated solely on firewood and solar power. In essence, Howl at the Moon Sauna Co. is more than just a sauna company, it's a movement toward a more balanced , connected and joyful way of living, where the wild spirit within us is celebrated and building community is at the heart of wellbeing. And, that's just the tip of the iceberg. Did we mention how cool the sauna itself is?!? We don't have photos to share yet. (Shhh... it's a surprise. But, it's going to be really freakin' cool!)

What I'll do with $5,000
A $5,000 investment in Howl at the Moon Sauna Co. would allow for us to enhance our community sauna sessions by investing in cold plunge ($250), portable cold shower ($500), portable furnishings such as communal tables, chairs, benches ($1,000), portable off-ground smokeless fire pit ($350) and lighting setup for optimal ambiance ($400). Funds would also be used for marketing and promotions including web hosting ($350 per year), apparel, stickers, and other promotional merchandise ($400), print and online advertising ($800). Any remaining funds are intended to be leveraged for expansion of services across West Michigan- think city, municipality, state park vendor and business licensing.
