Cocoa Powder

To create a bean to bar cocoa powder, you must purchase 2 tons of raw cacao and have it pressed in a facility. From there, you will receive cocoa butter, and cocoa powder.

About this idea
I would like to take our current chocolate company, who has won international awards and provides chocolate to many fine dining establishments, and release a product that allows us to grow in the market by having powder and butter separated.
Impact
The impact of this idea is to be able to provide a better than what is currently available to customers which use that ingredient. It would be more ethical and enhance the supply chain if we were to tackle this issue. The big impact that this would have is that many many food businesses would be able to increase the quality of the product, and that area of Michigan would be able to gain greater recognition as a home of quality craft food.
What I'll do with $5,000
I would buy 2 tons of cacao in Honduras and have it pressed into Cocoa powder and cocoa butter and shipped to Grand Rapids.
